Privacy what this site collects

Short, because there is not much to say. This site sets no cookies and measures nothing. An embedded map, an embedded booking system and the messages you choose to send us are the only places your data goes.

Who runs this site

Gorilla Kart, 2-6-12 Kumoji 2-Chōme, Naha, Okinawa 900-0015, Japan. For anything on this page — including a question about what we hold about you — email info@gorillakartt.com or call +81-80-4694-0519.

No cookies, and nothing is measured

This site sets no cookies. It loads no analytics tag, no advertising tag and no tracking pixel, so which pages you read here is not recorded or reported to us.

One thing is stored, and it stays in your own browser: if you use the licence checker on the homepage, the country you picked is remembered for the rest of that browser tab, so the answer is still there when you scroll back to it. It is never sent anywhere, and it is gone when you close the tab.

Two embeds that belong to other companies

The homepage and the contact page embed a Google map. The booking page embeds Bokun, which is the system that actually takes the booking. Loading either one connects your browser to that company, and it receives your IP address and basic browser information the same way it would if you visited a page of theirs directly.

What those two companies then do with it is governed by their own privacy policies rather than this one. No other page here loads anything from a third party — the fonts are served from this domain, not from Google. The site itself is hosted on Firebase Hosting, which keeps ordinary server logs of requests to it.

Booking

Bookings are taken inside the Bokun widget, not by this site. The name, contact details and payment information you type there go to Bokun, and we receive the booking from them. Nothing you enter in that box passes through a form of ours.

When you message us

If you email, call, or write to us on WhatsApp or LINE — including sending a photo of your licence so we can check it before you book — we keep what you send in order to answer you. Each of those services carries the message under its own terms, not ours.

Photographs on the ride

Your guide takes photographs during the Tour and gives them to you afterwards — that is part of the ride, not an extra. If you would rather not be photographed, tell your guide before you set off and that is completely fine.
