The outfit is ours and it goes on over what you arrive in. So the only question is what works in an open kart, at street level, in Okinawa.

Cosplay rental is part of the price, picked at the office before you set off. You do not need to plan an outfit, bring one, or match anyone.
What you do need to plan for is an hour or ninety minutes outdoors, sitting low, moving, with no roof.

Okinawa sun on the back of the hands and the back of the neck, for the whole Tour, with a breeze that hides how much of it you are getting. Sunscreen is on the counter and it is free, but it works better applied before you are in a hurry.
Sunglasses are worth having. Anything loose enough to blow off is not.
You are working two pedals for the length of the Tour, so wear something that stays on your foot. Beach sandals are the one thing people regret.
Anything you would hate to lose at 40 km/h — a hat, a scarf, a phone held in one hand — is better left at the office. There are wipes and a charging cable on the counter for afterwards.
Open karts on open roads, so genuinely bad weather cancels the ride and you are refunded in full. You do not need to gamble on a poncho.
Weather is separate and always free: if the forecast is poor, you can cancel or move your booking at any time up to your slot at no cost.
Not sure your licence works in Japan? That is the one thing worth settling before you book.
Read the permit rulesCosplay rental, the guide, professional photos and video. Nothing on that list is an extra.
