Rain, refunds and changing your slot

Open karts on open roads, so weather decides more here than it would on a bus tour. Both halves of the policy are short enough to read before you book.

If the weather cancels it, you are refunded in full

Open karts, open roads, no roof. Genuinely bad weather stops the Tour running and we refund the whole amount. You are not carrying that risk and you are not being offered a voucher.

A grey sky is not bad weather. Okinawa rain arrives and leaves quickly, so a forecast three days out is worth less than a phone call on the morning.

If you cancel, the line is seven days

Free of charge up to seven days before your slot, for any reason. Inside seven days, contact us — we handle these case by case rather than by a flat rule.

The kart, the guide and the cosplay are all reserved against your name by then, and a slot released at short notice does not resell. That is the reason for the line, and it is also why a conversation inside seven days is worth having rather than assuming the answer is no.

If your plans move rather than collapse, call us instead of cancelling. Moving a slot is a conversation; a cancellation is a policy.

Come an hour before your slot

Not because the paperwork is long, but because cosplay, sunscreen and finding a container office on a Kumoji side street all take longer than people plan for. Riders who arrive on the minute are the ones who feel rushed.

Not sure your licence works in Japan? That is the one thing worth settling before you book.
